Meet Abigail! She’s a sweet, silly girl who craves endless love and affection from her people. If you stop petting her, she will creep closer to you and nose you or tap you with her paw. Her large, expressive eyes stare deep into your soul with pure adoration. Prior to her current home, Abigail was not well trained. She has come a LONG way, but she will still need a patient, experienced hound owner. She is 100% American Foxhound—if she sees a deer, a fox, a squirrel, etc., or if she catches a scent, she is on the go, so an ideal home would include a large, fenced yard (or an active owner willing to take her on LEASHED walks). She learned to live with the cats here, but it took time. She loves to play with other dogs, but she can be jealous and possessive (especially with high value treats/food), so that will require continued training. She is also very stubborn and vocal when she does/doesn’t want to do something. Contact me for additional information! (Limited characters here.)
