Hi! My name is Calico and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am a very sweet lad but I can be a little nervous when meeting new people. I have not had a ton of socialization and new people and situations can be scary to me. I don't care much about toys right now but I do like to chase them from time to time. I am not very treat motivated but I will accept very stinky treats if you've got em! I came here as a stray so staff are still learning more about me!My ideal home would be be knowledgeable about my breed and how to safely introduce myself to new people and situations. I am young yet too so I will need some help with leash walking, commands etc. I am also looking for a low key home with not a lot going on while I grow into the best dog I can be! If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-XXXX as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.CALICO'S ADOPTION FEE: $400 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Calico and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet!
