Jackson is about 12 years old and is apparently a Terrier/Dachshund type of mix. Jackson's owner passed away recently and Amarillo SPCA rescued Jackson and several others, or they would have been sent to the pound. Jackson is now a very happy dude to have been rescued and back at SPCA with all his friends. When outside, he does like to 'take off' and run and run. But this guy is sweet, loving, quiet, and humble as well. Jackson gets along great wiith other dogs, both small or large. His coat coloring is tan, and being a senior boy, has lots of graying areas. He would like a 'forever' home. If you were to adopt, we strongly recommend crating Jackson at night and when he is home alone in the day.
